Explore Honolulu
After 20 years of living on the island, this is the Alliata guide to Oahu. Here are some of our favorite spots to explore, enjoy, and relax.

Beaches
KAIMANA BEACH
A quick and easy swim that's centrally located.

MAKAPU'U
Azzurra’s favorite. The sun dips behind the mountains in the afternoon. We recommend going in the morning.

WAIMANALO BEACH
Long sprawling beautiful beach. Park at the corner of Kaulu St & Laumilo St to access through Entry 100 D.

KAILUA BEACH
Michael’s favorite. Long sprawling white sand beach, great for morning beach walks.
YOKOHAMA
Far Western point of the island. Bring lunch, snacks, beach umbrella. Not much around there.

HALONA BEACH COVE
The iconic 1953 scene of Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr kissing in the sand in ‘From Here to Eternity’ film was shot here. Steep entry into the beach cove. Gets busy, so go in the morning or not at all.

CHINA WALLS
This is a large black rock where you can sunbathe or jump in the ocean. If you jump, you need to climb back up which can be tricky so check for big waves.
